Facing the receiver is easy to do by a competant 'smith who can put a spacer between it and the barrel's slightly set forward shoulder so headspace and iron sights go back to normal. Barrels can be removed and stress relieved. Only if the barrel's not stress relieved properly or fit to a receiver whose face isn't squared with the threads is when the barrel will bend as it heats up. Which means they have to be 1/2 inch or less at 100 yards. Lake City Arsenal tested their best match grade ammo shooting 200 or more shots once a minute or less per group into about 6 inches at 600 yards. Properly stress relieved and installed barrels go dozens to hundreds of shots fired every minute. Barrels heating up should not cause any accuracy problems.
